According to a Fox News article, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, a leading figure in the controversial television show Jersey Shore, was paid 32,000 dollars for visiting and giving a "campus talk" to Rutger's University. Snooki was paid 10,000 dollars more than the 23,466 dollar annual tuition fees at the school. She caused a stir when it was revealed she got 2,000 dollars more than Nobel Prize-winning author Toni Morrison will get for this year's commencement address.The campus talk consisted of a question-answer format. Snooki promotes tanning to these college students even though it has been noted to give cancer. Snooki noted, "When you're tan, you feel better about yourself."
